For so long we have been campaigning to be heard, after years of having no voice and no choice and being shamed about having a child “out of wedlock”. A child which was taken, sometimes just days after they were born.
Our children also had no voice – no say in the family they grew up with, their life experience, or their future. At long last, this is changing.
To find out what our children – now adult adoptees – have to say about what happened to them, visit the UK Adult Adoptee Movement and read their words, share their feelings – and their pain.
