The final evidence session of the JCHR took place on 25th May, and was well attended by many of those whose lives have been deeply affected by these issues. 15th December 2021 – first session of the Parliamentary Inquiry.

Following years of campaigning, the Parliamentary inquiry:The right to family life: adoption of children of unmarried women 1949 – 1976, commenced on Wednesday 15th December 2021.  Over 300 people submitted written evidence during the information gathering phase and much of the data that has been collected is still being analysed.
